fightinGravity
Our newest performance, fightinGravity, premieried in Trafo House of Contemporary Arts, in May 2017.
Circus has always been about gravity and our relationship with it. No matter how strong you get, you can not hold on to that bar forever. What if you could walk on walls however, or fall without ever landing? Is my weight just an illusion? Do you want to see me crash?
Here, their reality is a constantly changing space of repulsion and attraction, where they act as magnets with all of their positive and negative attributes. All in search of an experience of how it would feel to switch off this force, even if only for a moment.
The hour long performance uses techniques of aerial acrobatics, vertical dance and harness work, as well as dance, juggling and acrobatics.
